Short version: we use what you send us to quote for your job, we do not sell it or share it with anyone, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.

Who we are

What we collect

• What you type into the quote form: name, phone number, optional email, the property details and any notes.
• If you WhatsApp or email us, whatever is in that message.
• Anonymous, aggregated page statistics. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not set cookies, does not fingerprint your browser and cannot identify you — which is why this site has no cookie banner.

Why we are allowed to hold it

Under UK GDPR, the lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract. You asked us for a price; we need your details to give you one.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become jobs are deleted after 12 months. Where we did the work, we keep the job record for six years, because that is how long a customer can bring a claim and how long we may need to evidence what was agreed.

Who else sees it

Our email provider and our website host, both acting on our instructions. Nobody else. We do not sell data, we do not run advertising pixels, and we do not pass your details to other trades.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@thelondonpainters.co.uk and we will deal with it within a month. If you are not happy with how we handle it you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
